Abstract
Svrha izrade završnog rada je istraživanje i prezentiranje funkcionalnosti koje pruža softverski alat poslovne inteligencije Tableau, trenutno jedan od najistaknutijih alata za analitiku i vizualizaciju podataka. Kroz rad će se ukratko objasniti sam alat Tableau, navesti motivacija izrade ovog rada, način prikupljanja i pripreme podataka za analizu te opisati praktična izrada različitih izvješća. Prikazat će se analize kaznenih djela na području Policijske uprave primorsko-goranske za vremensko razdoblje od 2007. godine do 2016. godine. Svaka analiza pojasnit će se i bit će popraćena vizualnim prikazom radi lakšeg uvida u sam program Tableau. Također će se na temelju analiziranih podataka dati smjernice za aktivnosti prevencije i smanjenja različitih kategorija kaznenih djela.
