Abstract
U ovom završnom radu obrađena je tema biometrije u kontekstu Opće uredbe o zaštiti podataka (Uredba 2016/679). U prvom dijelu rada definirana su biometrija i pojmovi verifikacija i identifikacija koji se vežu uz biometriju, odnosno opisana je podjela i uporaba biometrijskih karakteristika u sustavima kontrole pristupa. U drugom dijelu rada opisana je Opća uredba o zaštiti podataka, navedeni su dijelovi Uredbe koji se tiču direktno biometrijskih sustava, te navedeni neki primjeri primjene Uredbe u kontekstu biometrijskih sustava.
