Abstract
U ovom radu definirane su osnovne vrste i karakteristike vapna te opasnosti i štetnosti tijekom rada u kemijskom laboratoriju, naĉini zaštite te su navedene prednosti i nedostaci sigurnosti zaštite laboranata. Svrha ovog završnog rada je ukazati na to koliko je sigurnost na radu bitna za ljudsko zdravlje i ţivot. Provodeći i pridrţavajući se osnovnih i posebnih pravila zaštite na radu sprjeĉavaju se ozljede na radu, profesionalne bolesti te druge bolesti u svezi s radom. Kemijski laboranti rade s kemijskim supstancijama u laboratoriju prema uputama nadreĊenih rukovoditelja. Rad laboranta se moţe podijeliti na pripremanje, izvoĊenje laboratorijskih postupaka te odreĊivanje svojstava materijala. Prije nego što se materijal poĉne analizirati, potrebno je provesti mjere za siguran rad s propisanim kemikalijama kako ne bi došlo do ozljeda laboranata.
