Abstract
Zdravstvene ustanove kao proračunski korisnici raspolažu ograničenim sredstvima odnosno veći dio svojih prihoda ostvaruju kroz ugovorne odnose sa Hrvatskim zavodom za zdravstveno osiguranje. Upravo iz tog razloga vrlo važan aspekt upravljana bolničkim resursima i smanjivanju troškova jest provođenje konstantnih analiza troškova koje pomažu i doprinose boljem upravljanju ograničenim sredstvima. U radu je analiziran način poslovanja zdravstvenih ustanova kao specifičnih proračunskih korisnika, načini financiranja zdravstvenih ustanova, te upravljanje i planiranje troškova u sustavu zdravstva, Nadalje, predočene su različite suvremene metode obračuna troškova kao i model obračuna bolničkih usluga prema dijagnostičko terapijskim skupinama. U radu je analiziran i primjer obračuna troškova kroz dva različita modaliteta liječenja.
