Abstract
U radu se analizira potencijal marketinških aktivnosti HŽ Putničkog prijevoza u privlačenju potrošača uzimajući u obzir prednosti željezničkog prometa u usporedbi sa drugim oblicima putničkog prijevoza kao što su putovanje avionom ili autobusom. Zbog dinamične okoline i sve jačeg utjecaja medija u sve modernijim oblicima, pred HŽ Putnički prijevoz postavlja se izazov pravovremenog i kvalitetnog odgovaranja na potrebe i želje potencijalnih potrošača. Iz navedenog razloga u radu se analiziraju obilježja usluge koju HŽ Putnički prijevoz nudi, modernizacija same usluge ali i novi načini njene prodaje te načini komuniciranja sa potrošačima. Nedostatak osjetljivosti na moderne potrebe potrošača, nove načine komuniciranja sa njima i dostupnosti usluge mogu biti kritični faktori u pridobivanju lojalnosti kupaca. Zbog svega navedenog važno je posvetiti pozornost modernizaciji i napretku u postojećim i novim oblicima marketinških aktivnosti analiziranih u radu te iskorištavanju postojećih prednosti željezničkog prijevoza.
