Abstract
U ovome radu prikazano je istraživanje da li otpori vožnje kod osobnih automobila značajno utječu na performanse vozila te u konačnici i na njegovu eksploataciju. Predmet rada je ispitivanje samog pogona te je dan primjer vatrogasnog vozila pri uvjetima vožnje u gradu Rijeci. Jedan od najvećih čimbenika utjecaja na performanse vozila je svakako nagib koji u gradu rijeci varira do 10 % a u prosječnoj vožnji na ispitivanoj ruti u ovome radu iznosila je 4 %. Problem koji je ispitan u ovome radu je da u eksploataciji vozila zbog veće potrebe za snagom vozila uzrokovanih otporima dolazi do potrošnje dijelova u motoru a prema tome i do povećane potrošnje goriva i ulja.
