Abstract
U ovom radu obradit će se pojam ergonomije, te će se objasniti značenje pojma stomatologije. Ukratko će biti predstavljena radna mjesta stomatologa i zubotehničara, te će se ona povezati s mogućim oštećenjima i povredama odnosno ozljedama na radu, profesionalnim bolestima te bolestima u vezi s radom koje se mogu pojaviti kao posljedica neergonomskih radnih uvjeta stomatologa i zubotehničara. Isto tako, dotaknut će se statistika profesionalnih oboljenja kao i vrsta i učestalosti ozljeda u dentalnoj medicini u Republici Hrvatskoj. Na samom kraju, s obzirom na sve navedeno, doći će se do zaključka zašto je ergonomija iznimno važna u očuvanju i zaštiti zdravlja radnika.
