Abstract
U ovom završnom radu spominje se virusu HIV i sindromu stečene imunodeficijencije (AIDS). Kroz završni rad opisane su razlike između virusa HIV-a i AIDS-a, njihove karakteristike i simptomi, skupine ljudi koji obolijevaju, izvori zaraze, prateća oportunistička oboljenja te njihovo sprječavanje i liječenje. Također kroz završni rad napravila se analiza osoba sa nosilaštvom HIV antitijela i osoba oboljelih od AIDS-a u Primorsko-goranskoj županiji u razdoblju od 2010. – 2019. godine.
