Abstract
Obzirom da je računovodstvo profesija koja se obavlja u izrazito dinamičnim uvjetima i promjenjivoj okolini, od neminovne je važnosti provoditi poslovnu etiku i pridržavati se etičkog kodeksa kao preduvjeta uspješnog poslovanja i opstanka na tržištu. Računovođe kao osobe koje obavljaju računovodstvenu profesiju nisu lišene etičkih dilema niti su imuni na financijske skandale. Kako bi poslovali etično, uz primjenu normi i pravila računovodstvene struke te pridržavanja pravila etičkog kodeksa, nužno je da računovođa posjeduje osobne vrijednosti kako bi se nadišle specifične situacije koje nameće računovodstvo kao profesija
