Abstract
Cilj zaštite na radu je štititi život i zdravlje radnika, te očuvati procese i sredstva rada od mogućih uništenja. Najveći rizik ozljede na radu javlja se kod novozaposlenih radnika. Radnici koji započinju svoj rad moraju biti dobro upoznati sa opasnostima na mjestu rada, te moraju biti osposobljeni za rad na siguran način. Kardiovaskularne bolesti su bolesti srca, krvnih žila mozga i vaskularne bolesti mozga. Najčešće kardiovaskularne bolesti su srčani udar ili infarkt, moždani udar, povišeni krvni tlak ili hipertenzija i ateroskleroza. Ozljedom na radu ne smatra se ozljeda i bolest do koje je dolazi zbog urođene ili stečene predispozicije zdravstvenog stanja koje mogu imati za posljedicu bolest kao što su infarkt, moždani udar i druge neurološke bolesti.
