Abstract
Event Data Recorder je uređaj u automobilu koji se najčešće ugrađuje u modul zračnog jastuka i bilježi određene tehničke parametre vezane za vozilo, a samim time i vozača u trenutcima naglih usporavanja, najčešće pri prometnim nesrećama. Podaci zabilježeni u Event Data Recorder uređaju su od iznimne važnosti pri vještačenju prometnih nesreća i za analizu sigurnosti na cestama. U ovom radu opisan je način rada Event Data Recorder uređaja i najvažnije, na koji način može utjecati na sigurnost cestovnog prometa. Osim samog uređaja opisani su i trenutno dostupni alati za dohvaćanje zabilježenih podataka - Crash Data Reterival i Global Information Tehnology alati uz pomoću kojih se dobiva konačno izvješće što je Event Data Recorder uređaj zabilježio neposredno prije i tijekom sudara.
