Abstract
Medicinske sestre su svakodnevno izložene kemijskim, biološkim opasnostima kao i štetnim zračenjima i drugim naporima i opasnostima na radu. Medicinske sestre predstavljaju jednu od djelatnosti koja je izrazito podložna utjecaju čimbenika na radnom mjestu i zauzimaju visoko mjesto na ljestivici oboljelih od profesionalnih bolesti. Većina sestara pati od određenog poremećaja koji je nastao zbog podizanja preteških pacijenata, guranja teške opreme, premeštanja pacijenata ili pridržavanja teških instrumenata operacijskim salama, ali su svakako rizična skupina i za druge profesionalne bolesti kao što su i izložene riziku od ubodnog incidenta. U ovom radu opisao sam sve profesionalne bolesti s kojima se susreću medicinske sestre, bolesti u svezi s radom kao i opasnosti kojima su one izložene.
