Abstract
Jedan od najvažnijih elemenata u oružanim snagama su vojna vozila koja omogućuju djelovanje oružanih snaga bilo to u ratu ili miru. U skladu s tim vrlo je važno istaknuti njihove raznolikosti kroz njihove raznolike podjele kojih je vrlo mnogo. Osim raznolikosti u konstrukcijskoj izvedbi, vojna vozila od kojih su i neka civilnih izvedbi, razlikuju se od civilnih vozila po načinu obilježavanja i registriranja. Tijekom kretanja vojnih vozila po cestovnim prometnicama, ista moraju poštivati zakone određene države koji postavljaju uvjete i načine kretanja pojedinih vrsta vojnih vozila. Osnovni cilj razvoja vojnih vozila je velika vatrena moć uz maksimalnu oklopnu zaštitu ljudstva, opreme i tereta, i veliku manevarsku sposobnost, i veliku brzinu.
