Abstract
U radu je obrađena tema Intermodalnost teretnog transporta Europske unije. S obzirom na današnju situaciju u svijetu te veliko onečišćenje i zagušivanje prometnica, tema je i više nego aktualna. Da bi se izbjegle posljedice velikih onečišćenja,potrošnje neobnovljivih izvora energije te postigla veća efikasnost i bolje iskorištenje transportnog procesa, sve više se pridaje pažnja novim i poboljšanim načinima transporta. Jedna od metoda je i uvođenje intermodalnosti u transportni sustav. Ovom metodom se ubrzava transportni proces, efikasniji je te su troškovi transporta smanjeni.
