Abstract
U ovome radu prikazane su specifičnosti automobila pogonjenih na plin. Naglašene su odredbe iz odgovarajućeg Pravilnika koje takva vozila moraju ispunjavati kako bi bila sigurna i važeća za njihovu primjenu. Razrađeni su odgovarajući opisi rada plinskih sustava kod benzinskih i dizel motora. Izvršena je analiza kretanja cijena goriva benzina, dizela i plina u Hrvatskoj za određeni period kako bi se na temelju te analize za primjer Opel Meriva mogla izračunati potrošnja, ušteda te na kraju isplativost ugradnje plinske instalacije.
