Abstract
Bakterija Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. savastanoi je uzročnik bolesti raka masline. U Istri rak masline je redovita bolest. Pravilnom zaštitom i održavanjem kondicije masline moguće je spriječiti zarazu. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi postotak zaraze u zapadnom dijelu Istre, utvrditi koliko su maslinari u Istri upoznati s rakom masline i koje mjere zaštite provode u masliniku. Rezultati su dobiveni kroz anketu koja je trajala 5 mjeseci, u razdoblju od 15. ožujka do 15. kolovoza 2020. Anketiran je 61 maslinar s područja zapadne Istre. Veći postotak zaraze je u sjevernom dijelu Istre. Zaraza je utvrđena na različitim sortama, a najviše su zahvaćene introducirane sorte. Od autohtonih sorti najviše je zaražena sorta Buža, dok kod introduciranih najviše je zaražena sorta Leccino. Maslinari vrše sve preventivne mjere, u koje spadaju mehaničke mjere, zaštita sredstvima, održavanje kondicije maslinika kroz gnojidbu.
