Abstract
U ovome radu prikazana je proizvodnja pare te je dan osvrt na tehnologiju izrade parnih kotlova i siguran rad radnika pri upotrebi kotlova. Radnici koji obavljaju razne poslove u postrojenju koje upotrebljava kotlove moraju biti upoznati sa opasnostima i rizicima koji se mogu pojaviti pri radu. U ovome radu prikazan je princip rada parnog kotla, njegovi osnovni dijelovi te tehnologija procesa proizvodnje pare. Od velikog značaja za sigurnost radnika važno je poznavanje zaštitnih uređaja te samih rizika koji se javljaju u postrojenju. Prema važećim propisima poslodavac je dužan osigurati siguran rad za svoje radnike. Prema tome u ovome radu prikazana je metodologija odabira odgovarajuće zaštitne opreme. Također u radu su prikazane procedure koje pomažu pri smanjivanju opasnosti i rizika.
