Abstract
U specijalističkom završnom radu pod nazivom Djelatnosti morskih luka s osvrtom na riječku luku opisani su svi procesi koji čine jednu pomorsku luku učinkovitom, protočnom i konkurentnom. Počinje sa uvodom u razradu teme koji sadrži općeniti opis prometa i pomorstava te važnosti morskih luka i njenih djelatnosti. U nastavku rada detaljnije se opisuju temeljna obilježja morskih luka poput pojma i zadatka luke, kategorije morskih luka, lučkog sustava i funkcije luke te cjelokupnog povijesnog i ekonomskog razvoja. Nadalje, sama razrada teme govori o organizaciji i najvažnijim tehnološkim procesima u lučkom sustavu sa osvrtom na riječku luku, njenu povijest, geoprometni položaj, ukupan promet riječke luke te glavne i sporedne koncesionare i njihove djelatnosti. Pred kraj je ukratko opisana modernizacija riječke luke i njeni razvojni projekti.
