Abstract
S porastom ljudske populacije i modernim načinom života, nastaje sve veća potreba za korištenjem osobnih automobila, a time i razvojem modernih parkirališnih rješenja. Pametna se parkirališta najčešće razvijaju unutar pametnih gradova, a često su upravo ona inicijatori razvoja ostalih segmenata pametnog grada. Rijeka je jedan od najvećih hrvatskih gradova s iznimnom pomorskim, turističkim i kulturološkim značajem, a parkiralište „Delta“ je kapacitetom najveće parkiralište koje sadrži moderna parkirališna rješenja sustava naplate i korištenja pretplatničkih kartica te sustav automatskog prepoznavanja registarskih oznaka (ANPR), sustav automatskog prepoznavanja vozila i autonomne motorizirane barijere. Budućnost parkirališta „Delta“ je razvoj prema sustavu usmjeravanja vozila na parkirna mjesta u kontekstu razvoja Rijeke kao pametnog grada.
