Abstract	U ovom završnom radu obrađena je tema modifikacije procesa zbrinjavanja medicinskog otpada u Kliničkom bolničkom centru Rijeka, koji obuhvaća tri lokaliteta, Rijeku, Sušak i Kantridu. U sklopu rada opisan je proces trenutnog zbrinjavanja medicinskog otpada na navedenim lokalitetima. Također, u radu je navedena troškovna analiza infektivnog otpada u razdoblju od 2012. godine do 2015. godine te je analizirana mogućnost korištenja vlastitog uređaja za obradu infektivnog otpada, odnosno isplativost drugačijeg pristupa zbrinjavanja infektivnog otpada u sklopu samog kliničkog centra.
