Abstract
Informacijski sustavi u prometu i sigurnost usko su povezani kako bi se postigla sigurnost, kvaliteta i komfornost prometa. Upravo to je posebno vidljivo na prometnicama koje su svojom konstrukcijom ograničene, kao što je tunel Učka, gdje se jednom cijevi odvija dvosmjeran promet čime je uvelike ugrožena sigurnost putnika u prometu. Kako bi se promet odvijao bez poteškoća, a mogući incidenti bili sa što manjim posljedicama od iznimne je važnosti da sustavi u tunelu budu ispravni. Sustavi u tunelu informatički i mehanički su uređaji kojima je moguće daljinski upravljati iz centra upravljanja preko posebnog informacijskog sustava SCADA čime je osigurano brzo i efikasno reagiranje u slučaju incidenata.
